ENCHANTED 1863
Year 1863. A young nobleman, Badowski, wounded in one of the battles of the January Uprising, finds refuge in a manor hidden deep within the Świętokrzyskie Mountains. There, his host — a mysterious man with a disturbing aura — engages in practices that go beyond the known boundaries of reality.
With each passing day, Badowski sinks deeper into the manor’s dark secrets. Amid whispers of the past and dreamlike visions, he begins to realize that in this war, it is not only sabres and rifles that decide the fate of men. On lands swept by the national uprising, something primal is awakening — something that should not exist in the heart of Europe.
What does voodoo have to do with the January Uprising? Will Badowski uncover the truth?
ENCHANTED 1863 is a comic book that blends history and mysticism, realism and horror, Polish tradition and exotic beliefs. A tale of struggle, destiny, and secrets that were never meant to be revealed.
